How to avoid crowds while on holiday in Croatia
Croatia is very popular summer holiday destination owing to its beautiful coast and hundreds of islands waiting to be explored.
The record numbers of tourist staying in Croatia are broken year after year. The most crowded time of the year is from the end of July to the middle of August, so we recommend June and September because the weather is still very nice and sunny, sea is warm and most important of all there are far fewer people so you rarely wait in lines for visiting attractions or walk around town surrounded by large groups of people.
A lot of people choose sightseeing instead of swimming and if they do decide to go swimming, the city beaches will most likely be overcrowded. If you choose visit any of the numerous gorgeous islands there might be more hidden coves and bays to visit for relaxing and swimming. Split area offers so many different tours that everybody should do while staying in the city because that will be the perfect opportunity to find less crowded and hidden spots to cool off in the sea or enjoy nature even for one day.
